Amara Estate Builder Appointed
M/Group is pleased to announce that NVS Construction Pty Ltd has been appointed as builder for Amara Estate, marking the project’s move into the construction phase.
Founded in 2022 by Directors Brendon Bidwell and Russell Holmes, NVS Construction has built a reputation for quality across industrial, mining, residential and mixed-use projects, drawing on the Directors’ extensive industry experience. Their appointment follows the finalisation of the Building Contract and Civil Works package, and construction is set to commence in the coming months.
This milestone builds on strong momentum for Amara Estate. Since pre-sales launched, the project has attracted significant demand from essential workers and investors alike, with now 54 dwellings pre-sold and 37 dwellings contracted to the Government Regional Officer Housing (GROH) program. Full project funding remains secured through the Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA).
With a builder now in place, M/Group looks forward to delivering safe, affordable, climate-resilient homes for essential workers in the Kalgoorlie-Boulder region, and will continue to provide updates as construction progresses.

M/Group is pleased to present the Newman Regional Housing Fund – a strategic residential land development in the heart of the East Pilbara.
Located in Newman, one of Australia’s premier iron ore service centres, the development is positioned to meet chronic housing undersupply driven by long-term demand from mining operations. The project comprises 200 titled lots, secured from a Receiver/Manager at a significant discount to replacement cost.
The development will deliver 167 turn-key homes for owner-occupiers and investors, and remaining high-density lots to be sold separately on the open market. M/Group is partnering with NVS Construction and Jubilee Modular, both of whom bring significant experience delivering construction outcomes in regional Western Australia.
Housing supply in the region remains in critical shortage, with very limited new supply delivered over the past decade and demand is expected to continue.

Amara Pre-Sales Officially Launched
Following much anticipation, M/Group is excited to announce that pre-sales for our latest residential landmark, Amara Estate, officially launched at the end of July 2025.
Amara Estate is a secure, gated community with shared green spaces and residence clubhouse. The primary goal of this project is to facilitate delivery of safe, affordable, climate-resilient homes in a secure, gated community for essential workers in this high priority regional location in the Kalgoorlie-Boulder area. The essential key workers include and aren’t limited to the following industries: childcare, education, emergency services, government employees, healthcare, and retail.
Currently, there are 40 dwellings pre-sold, and 36 dwelling contracted to be leased to the Government Regional Officer Housing (GROH) program. Demand for sales and leasing remains exceptionally strong, driven by Kalgoorlie’s current vacancy rate of less than 1%.
The project is set to move into the construction phase early next year. The Building Contract and Civil Works package has been finalised, and we have secured full project funding through the Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA).

Four Wins in a Row for M/Construction
M/Construction hit a quadfecta at this year’s Master Builders Australia 2021 Excellence in Construction Awards when the company took home its fourth ‘gong’ for ‘Best multi-unit development’; this time for its work on Quest Apartment Hotel, Ascot in the $10-20 million division.
This high-profile, 112-room purpose-built property is the second Quest apartment building to be entrusted by the apartment hotel giant to M/Construction and has significantly strengthened an already strong relationship between the two organisations.
The project faced many challenges, notwithstanding planning holdups with Covid-19 lockdown restrictions, a complete review of all materials and their delivery timeframes due to supplier delays and being located on a busy intersection where traffic management was required.
M/Construction director, Mr Michael Read, said the sheer prestige of the building and the work that went in to finish it to the highest caliber makes this year’s award win even more gratifying.
“Our work is often likened to that of a well-oiled machine, where all the many components are coordinated with such great precision that result often exceeds expectation,” he said.
“In the case of Quest Apartment Hotel, Ascot, we faced enormous challenges that might have crippled another building company. However, our advanced systems and processes were so well executed that we finished the job on time and to an extraordinary standard.”
The development program saw the company introduce a unique construction methodology whereby one entire floor was competed every two weeks, enabling for services to start work weeks earlier than usual.
In assessing the project, the award judges considered quality of construction, project management, value for money, innovation, and site management – all which M/Construction excelled.
The Master Builders Award accolade is equally reflected in the client’s response of being impressed by the process and end results. Shortly after completion Quest was announced as “Oceania’s Leading Serviced Apartment Brand 2020” in the World Travel Awards further highlighting their strong and consistent brand through their premises.
“Many might query what makes M/Construction so different to other companies within the marketplace and the answer is evident in the way we conduct our business towards achieving outstanding results time after time,” Mr Read continued.

The Quest Apartment Hotel, Ascot is an $18.5 million project built on a 2,211sq.m site with a project area of 8,072sq.m. It was completed in just over 15 months.
